Peter suffers from a condition that finds physical expression in occasional uncontrollable fits of song-writing; he has suffered from this for thirty years or more. He mainly plays guitar, with occasional excursions onto keyboards, mandolin and sitar. In the 1970s he was involved in the production of three vinyl albums, now rarities fetching ridiculous amounts of money on e bay. Since then he has produced a tape or more recently a CD album every year or so; most recent offerings are ‘Philately, Philosophy and Felicity’ (2007), ‘Faith and Superstition’ and ‘Pour les Petits Animaux’ (2008); these works have resulted in critical acclaim, mostly the former. He has sung in folk clubs, churches, and at the Greenbelt Festival; these days he plays the odd support slot for his friend Gareth Davies-Jones, who is a proper full time musician.
